I liked this game, but it doesnt have enough cars. Please add more and go for names such as, lamborgini, audi and dodge.

When you load up the controller site on your iPhone, everything looks to be normal. However as soon as you tap the iPhone screen to control the game in anyway with it, the game itself instantly crashes so until they correct the issue, your stuck with keyboard controls. (I am using a 2012 Macbook Pro and an iPhone 4s)
EA this is a great game however could you please bring fps games to the mac? aspyr is doing it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
The graphics are great, & I love playing this on my iPhone. But the iPhone controller sync just doesnt work. Ill get to the site, & it wont connect at all. As a result, Im stuck using the keypad--which makes for pretty clunky play. Since I only bought this app because of the ability to use my iPhone as a controller, Im REALLY disappointed. Right now, this game is about as good as the RC Mini Racers Game, which was free. PLEASE fix this.
its a great game with console like graphics almost as good as xbox or playstation some of the levels are difficult but good game all in all
The solo part of this racing game is excellent. The controls and difficulty settings are very good. Career mode is very entertaining and worth the price of the game. The online multiplayer component, however, is another story. Races are not sorted by classes of cars, making it impossible to compete at that level without the fastest of cars. Faster cars may be purcashed in the game through career mode. The fastest car of all is given to the player as a gift for winning the world championship. Another problem with online play is that some cars are able to drive on dirt and grass as quickly as on pavement. This should not be the case. I dont know if this is a setting or some sort of cheat but it ruins online play completely both in competitiveness and realism.
Excellent game. Works GREAT with PS3 controller. Really fun if you just want to Race.
This has been a fun game to play.. Even better once I connected my ps3 controller to it. For people who complain about the game being to hard and they cant beat the computer just reduce the assisted braking.
The game is basically ported from iOS. Nothing new. The tracks, cars, idea - exactly the same. In fact, i think both games are compatible (for multiplayer). Overall - fun to play. Bad Parts: Keyboard controls - AWFUL. On low sensitivity the cars turning circle is a football field, on high sensitivity - correcting the car on straight sends it into the wall. Remote control (via iOS device) - simply doesnt work. AT ALL. Its done in the most akward way imaginable and well… it doesnt do anything (and from what i heard, when you tilt your phone, it switches rotation and messes everything up. Multiplayer - JOKE. There are only 2 cars people race. Corvette GT and McLaren GTR. There is no way to sort by track (only suggest), no way to play by car class and sometimes cars just go through one another. Mutliplayer is probably the WORST part of the game, even though controls are pretty upsetting too.
great playing with a remote from my ps3 no lag and it make it easier to control. The graphics are fantastic and this game rocks
Utter disappointment, and I want my money back. I purchased the game so that I could play with my iPhone and it does. not. work. A quick look at the firemint page for this game and the entire comment thread is people complaining about the terrible iPhone controls. A simple, free app would work much better than using SAFARI in which your iPhones screen is prone to ROTATE if you steer the car over 45 degrees. Utter, utter disappointment.
This game is highly recommended, especially when I purchased it at $4.99. The ability to use my iPod Touch as the controller is amazing. The graphics are very nice, along with the enchanced graphics for the Retina Display. I wish sometimes there were more cars available from other makes, such as Audi. However, overal the game runs very smooth on my 2012 MacBook Pro Retina 15.4. Cannot wait for Real Racing 3!
Real Racing 2 is a great game, its also one of the only games I know of that work with Mountain Lions new OS X vs iOS feature. I have no complaints with this game and I have a copy for my Mac and my iPhone and love it :) EA/Firemonkeys/Firemint, please bring Real Racing 3 to the Mac when its finished, Id love to play it!
This game is too hard! I would highly NOT recommend it.
I had this on my old iPad 2 and enjoyed it. Picked it up for the Mac, its good and all however the controlls could be better. To use the iPod or iPhone as a controller, you go to URL on the phone and it does the remote connection. If you have a poor WiFI connection it will affect the controller response time. it would be nice if there was a Bluetooth connection mode, or even better configure the Mac verison to allow for USB game controller support and configurations. Aside from that, it still enjoy this game.
One of the best racing games that Ive played for a computer. Quite amazing
The graphics and physics are solid, but its really the iPhone (or other device) control that makes this game exceptionally fun.
This game is by far the best game of its genre, Im excited to see where this series goes in the future, maybe a Real Racing 3 port? :D Worth the money, in almost every way. Though, more levels and events would be nice :D
The game is ok. The problem was that the keybord controls are not percise as I would like it to be but when i hook up my ipod the game becomes great but I would like them to fix the keyboard.
I don’t game like I used to but I play to pass time every now and again. This game surprised me. After trying it out on my mac, I connected it to my living rm high def tv via thunderbolt to hdmi adapter and used my iPhone as a wireless controler. Worked like a charm. Controls are better than I had expected. Fun times! Not a bad game for $12.99.
