Real Racing 2 App Reviews

I used to really like this game. It stopped working on my MacBook Pro. Reinstalled multiple times. Followed everyone’s suggestions. I have not been able to get it to work for months.

I just saw reviews online and thought to give a try but once I installed not able to open the game. It gives a message “Real Racing 2 is damage and can’t open”. I am not sure why this app is still laying in app store dump and costs $12.99. I am completly disappointed with the installation. Delete the app immediately from App store. Fix it and keep it back. Refund my money back.

Just a warning, the current version of this app will not open and many other buyers have had the same problem as me. Waste of money for this reason.

I loved this game before I upgraded to El Capitan. Now, the game crashes each time I try to load it. Electronic Arts is a quality gamemnaker - I’m really disappointed that the game doesn’t work with El Capitan.

UPDATE: A of the OS update to El Capitan, Real Racing WILL NOT OPEN. I have contacted the creators of Real Racing several times concerning this problem over several months. This is why I delayed my UPDATED review. After a dozen times contacting them, I NEVER recieved a response. This is totally UNEXEPTABLE!!! I have invested a lot of time and money into this racing game as I told the developers, and for them not to have the common curtiousy to contact me back after numorous attemps is truly sickening. You can see my original review of this game and how I gave it a rave review with 5 Stars. I am now lowing my rating to 1 Star. Developers like this do not deserve one single cent from anyone ever again. They better change the name of their company because they will never get another penny from me. This is without doubt one of the best racing games I have ever played. This statement is coming from someone who has decades of experience in the Racing Game Genre. The only racing games that are a close equal are Need for Speed Shift & Shift 2, and a couple of the very early Need for Speed games from Electronic Arts. Everything about this game (Real Racing 2) is perfect! The Physics, the graphics, the controls, the style of racing, and the layout of the game as far as progression through the game. Perfect! I have no affiliation with this company at all. I am just a happy consumer of an excellent racing game. My only wish is they would come out with Real Racing 3 for the Mac. Wow! Talk about being in Heaven. Yup! That wold just about do it for me! 5 Star Rating all the way! I wish I could give it a higher rating because this game deserves it without question. I guaranteed you WILL NOT be disappointed in your purchase if you are into the genre of gaming. Live Life in the Fast Lane! PS I have been playing this game for weeks (close to a month) and have enjoyed every hour of it. After you have finished the game, you can make your standing in the world better by the use of the Time Trials. LOVE IT!

I just downloaded this game for the 8th time and it still wont launch. I dont know why but update this now. I have lost all my patience.

Game is not working. Purchased it to play. I like the game very much. Kindly help. It is saying “Real Racing 2” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “Real Racing 2” and download it again from the App Store. I tried installing for 2 times. Same issue again. Please Help.

Fun till it disappeared! Tried to uninstall and reinstall. HA! Gone!! Tried to buy Real Racing HD they were happy to take my money but GONE!!! No GAME!!!! BAD DEAL APPLE!!!!!!!!! DID TRUMP MAKE YOU AN OFFER YOU COULDN’T REFUSE??????

As with more than 20 others who’ve posted here since February of this year, I get the message in the title. Download it again, get the same message. Why Apple allows this to be sold is beyond me; very atypical. I relied on the default “most helpful” reviews, which were overall very positive, but wish I’d have checked the “most recent” beforehand. Now seeking a refund.

When I want to open it, shows me the following message : ¨Real Racing 2¨ is damaged and can’t open.

Says app is damanged and to redownload ive done this 1000 times and it doesnt change anything! so FIX THIS PLEASE! i love the game and would love to keep playing but its broken and needs a update badly!

I hate that I just paid 12 dollars for this game and it wont even open on my MacBook. It keeps telling me that the application is damaged and cannot be opened.

Bottom line - This app crashes whenever you try to open it. Between FireMonkeys, Electronic arts and Apple (Game Center?) they have successfully killed this great game (back in 2012 it ran just fine). After EI Capitan it never ran. After much research, I am going to loose my $12 for game + $12 for in-game purchases. Frankly there is no chance of me getting my money back, and the integrity/ethics of this manufacturer and Apple clearly don’t care for listing this app on app store dumping customers who have paid for its products. Go Apple for listing this app on the app store, and endorsing business practices that will drain you down to you know where.. (need I say?). "Real Racing 2" is damaged and cant open If you can not fix it in a short time, please refund.

Like all previous reviewers, it won’t open at all. Please fix it or refund ASAP.

Initially disappointed; maybe as I play I will become more satisfied. I am a huge fan of the old Need for Speed franchise on PC, and after playing some of Real Racing 3 on my iPhone, I was had my hopes up that this would be a reasonable stand-in for Need for Speed on my Mac. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience so far. Probably my biggest complaint so far is that this feels like an iPhone game stuck on a Mac (which I guess it really is). All of the weirdness of iPhone racing games, such as auto-acellerate, no option to manually shift, etc, are fully engaged by default, even with a gamepad. Turning off the assists and turning down the sensitivity of the steering have helped tremendously, but the game still feels awkward on a Mac with a gamepad. Maybe my impression with change as I play it more. Ultimately what I want is a first class racing app on a Mac. I keep hoping, I keep trying the occassional one out, and I keep being disappointed. And this one is no exception.

Awesome game! With iPhone it is very responsive and crassly controlled. Even for the younger players.

This game exceeded my expectations by miles, I assumed it would be one of those glitchy, cheesy racing games, but I turned out to be the best racing game I have ever played.
